Just Brakes In Atlanta Georgia takes advantage of Women
My girlfriend took her Ford Explorer to store #341 on Roswell Road in Atlanta because she noticed her brakes were acting up near the huge sign advertising JBrakes.
The mechanic looked over her brakes and told her she needed new front and rear brakes repaired including calipers,rotors,etc. The price would be approx. $1000 !!! They basically took advantage of someone who trusted them and knew she wasn't very knowledgable about brakes. She did know her brakes had been repaired and overhauled by the dealership less than two years ago. She told the mechanic that she was selling or trading her car in the next few months and didn't want her brakes overhauled. Just the essential service to keep the vehicle in good driving condition. This would cost her about $600 they told her. She came back the next day and they told her the Master cylinder was not functioning!

Susan is still waiting to get her car back from the JUST BRAKES on Roswell Rd in Atlanta. They have had her car for 5 days! She paid the bill two days ago and picked her car up after hours. After driving away she noticed her brakes were not working properly. The mechanic said come back today and they would have the car ready. It was NOT ready again today. He kept apologizing and she let him know she was upset. She talked to Mr Banks at their 1-800 number for Cust service. The mechanic said he would definitely have the car ready in the morning after this phone call. PS...he also told her because she had the ABS on the front they would have to bring a special machine to this location to and they have only one in Atlanta!!! It's dumb and dumber with this company! This company reminds me of the expose "60 minutes" did on service stations along the interstate gouging customers ruthlessly several years ago.
She is in the process of reporting this to the corporate head quarters in Texas. Just Brakes of Georgia Corporation
