Just Brakes advertize $99.00 brake job--you will not get out for less than $300.00 Irving Texas
I brought my car in on a friday morning as we were going out of town that evening-I was quoted $99. for brakes-I came back around 3pm & car was apart-no one working on it.They said it would be $360.00 and come back Monday.I said"I told you I was leaving town this evening."Well,we are sorry,but the worker had to leave early.But you said,"it will be ready & $99.?"OH,but you "need" this & that and the parts will be here Monday!I said "it only needs pads!!"Put it all back together,like it was when I first got here..They chg'd me $200.00 just to put it back together!!!How can they say it was $99.00 to fix it when it was 2x that to do nothing???I love these people..

First off, if you dropped your car off at Just brakes, and could not stay during the inspection process, then after they took the brake system apart, you would have been called by the Store Manager or the Asst. Manager and they would have explained to you what repairs were required, and what repairs were suggested. Secondly if you declined all the repairs, they would not charge to put the car back together as that is against company policy. I would like to know what type of car it was as most Just Brakes stock parts for most of the cars on the road, or they can get them from a local parts house. I find it hard to believe that they would have told you to come back on a monday when they are open on Saturdays. Even if the parts had to be ordered a $360.00 brake job at Just Brakes is still cheaper then any of our competitions friction reline prices.
