Reason I ask that question is that whenever you take your car into another shop, of course there may be some items that need to be addressed. If this is like a typical shop, you got a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty with Lifetime Warranty Brake Pads or shoes. So your brakes wore out in 18 months? It happens. How can a "3rd Party" tell whether rotors have been turned after 18 months?....Come on dude....If you went back to that location where you got the job done, the brake pads and shoes would have been replaced parts and labor at no charge, however, if other items got destroyed, broken, etc, then those items arent covered under the 12/12 warranty. I think you need to know what Bait and switch is. Bait and switch is when any item is advertised and you are sold an upgrade item at a higher charge. Brake jobs as is any repair, going to have a basic advertised price of a "given service", nothing more, nothing less. If you presnted your documents to small claims court, the judge would politely ask you to leave.
