Just Brakes Consumer Fraud Rip-Off Watauga Texas
On Thursday May 1st, while I was at work my wife called to let me she heard some grinding on the brakes when she was stopping so I told her to go to Just Brakes (didn't any better).
I called ahead to schedule an appointment, everything was good to go. When she arrived the began their "inspection" and came back and told my wife it would $450 or more becuase the wheel cylinders were leaking, we needed shims becuase the car didn't have any, springs as a result of changing the cylinders, and then calipers, rotors, and pads.
My car is currently under warranty so I called the dealership to find out the best way to handle the situation. They advised that I stop the service becuase of the company I was dealing with and becuase my deductible would be less at the dealership.
My wife stopped the service and we took the car to the dealership, they did their inspection and said NOTHING was wrong with the break system.
The tech at the dealership warned about ever going back to Just Brakes (duh), so I thought I try to let as many other people know about the decptive and probable consummer fruad that takes place at Just Brakes.
Oh and I failed to mention we later found out that my brother in-law also went to just breaks and he paid for the service which was just over $300 and contained almost the exact replacement parts...
