Just-leather.com Matthew Sherman I Too, Am A Victim! ripoff didn't answer phone, didn't answer emails, never called back! Freehold New Jersey
Emailed about availability of jacket on January 10, 2005. No response. Called on January 12, 2005 to place order and was told that the jacket was in stock and that it took 2 days to ship to Virginia. Ordered jacket over the phone via credit card. Received email for the confirmation that the order went through. Emailed the company for a tracking number. No response. Emailed and called everyday for a tracking number and status of order, phone went straight to voice mail and never got email replies or call backs.
After the 5-7 day shipping processing time, I had figured that the jacket would be sent out, but still I never got replies via email or phone. 4 days after, I finally got an email with a UPS tracking number. One that has to be really bogus because he's probably paying for a label and shipping 'something, if anything' out for 2.0 pounds. There is no way a leather motorcycle jacket is gonna be shipped out at 2 pounds. The scam of it is paying for a UPS sticker/tracking number for 2 pounds and keeping the rest of the money. Good scam, because he has scammed many people as I have seen many complaints! I had been very angry for the past couple of weeks, but knowing that other people have gotten taken by this guy, I don't feel so bad.
This guy needs to go to prison because he's scammed many people and all I've seen were negative complaints. I didn't think there was something fishy until I realized this guy wouldn't ever answer his phone or get back in contact with me. This is very bad business! I just don't know how he's getting away with this and for how long he's been doing this.
I hope he gets caught because he's getting away with murder.

Paypal only gives 30 days so make sure to e-mail them about Just-leather.com fraud also. Then you have to do the following to get results with this guy: File a complaint and call the NJ Attorney General's Office at http://nj.gov/lps/ Also here is a phone number Division of Consumer Affairs in NJ: 973-504-6200 File a complaint with the FBI at this address -- http://www.ifccfbi.gov/index.asp Then the Office of Consumer Protection at http://www.state.nj.us/lps/ca/ocp/ocpform.htm On a side note to recap the message boards on this site; so far Mr. Sherman has issued two bounced checks (I think this is felony please advise if you are lawyer). And Mr. Sherman continues to issue false tracking numbers, false statements, and false checks. Amazing!
