K Hovnanian Bathroom vent fans go nowhere!!!!!!! Red Bank, New Jersey

Our home was built by K Hovnanian in 1996, and we bought it in 2006.
I just went to redo a vent fan in an upstairs bathroom and, unbelieveably, its outlet was not connected to any kind of duct leading out of the attic. In fact, NEITHER OF THE BATH FANS ARE VENTED OUTSIDE THE STRUCTURE, THEY JUST SIT THERE UNDER THE FIBERGLASS INSULATION IN THE ATTIC SPEWING THE MOISTURE BETWEEN THE FIBERGLASS BATT AND THE DRYWALL WHICH MAKES UP THE CEILING!!!!!
I really don't know how the people who left it this way can live with themselves. It is my personal opinion that no one should ever buy a Hovnanian home, regardless of whether or not Hovnanian appears to be a "good value."
