Tax Ready does not give refunds, major ripoff
In November, I signed up for tax ready and after the phone call wanting to sell me a home business decided I would not be doing business with them. On approximately the 9th of November, I requested that a refund be made (at that time they had not yet taken the funds from my account yet) and was told I had to fax them the request -- this was done.
On approximately the 12th of November, the funds were withdrawn. Around the end of November, I called to find out the statud of my refund and was told I had to have an exit phone call before the refund would be made - and they could not hold the call until December 12 -- This phone call was made and I was told I would get the refund. Approximately one week later, I called to find out the status and was told that they would not be making the refund for 45 days from the call which they said would be the end of January "approximately Super Bowl time".
It is not the 18th of February and I have received nothing. A phone call was made several times in the past week and a message was left on one occassion (when the message box was not full) and no one returned my call -- today I finally got to speak with someone and was told that "the computer is down and call again on Wednesday" this was after they asked for my phone number. I am very tired of dealing with these people can you help me.

Of course I am still calling -- have reached a live person; but their computers are still down and they cannot help me and will call me back when the computers are back up.
