Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This person/company listed "Wiggles Iron on Transfers" on Yahoo Auctions for $6.00, and included a picture of what they looked like and a description. There were no other bids on this, and there was no negative feedback on this company at the time.

My son, who is five and Autistic, is a HUGE fan and I have had trouble finding Wiggles T-shirts in his size, so I thought the transfers would be perfect for him. I didn't bid, but bought outright for $6.00, plus $2.00 shipping. In the details of the listing, it stated they would accept Paypal and money orders.

Because I wanted to get this as soon as I could, I opted for the money order. This was because my Paypal account had old information and an old bank account number that would take a few days to be verified and updated. I e-mailed the company and asked where I could send payment. Karen Williams e-mailed back promptly with an address and I thanked her and told her I would get the money order right out. That was on May 23, 2003. I sent the money order on May 24, 2003 and I have not heard or received a thing.

Unfortunately, my e-mail outbox deletes old e-mails after so many weeks and the e-mail she sent that had the whole physical address is gone; all I remember is her name and the city and state. I do, however, still have the money order stub. I really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt; maybe there was a problem or something happened that delayed things.

But I have the e-mail address and have e-mailed approximately five times in the last week, even sending return receipt e-mails that have been received and opened and have still gotten no response. I would imagine that if my payment had never made it or if there was a problem on my end, I might have heard something. This person is flat out ignoring me and has my money.

I went to Yahoo to leave negative feedback after giving her ample time to contact me and someone else has recently left negative feedback for something they bid on in April that they have not received and their e-mails are ignored as well.

I have filed a complaint with the Internet Fraud Watch and am trying to contact the other bidder that was ripped off to see if they have an address or any additional information. Once I am able to obtain the address again, I will file a complaint with the USPS as well.

Since they had listed an AOL address on the auction listing, and that was how I was communicating with them, and I also use AOL, I will contact AOL to see if there is anything they can do, though I am not holding out much hope there. I have already contacted Yahoo Customer Care but because it was under $25, Yahoo Buyer Protection Program can't do anything.

I'm mad as hell because I feel like this person/company stole from my special needs child because this was something I was buying for him and he was so excited that we were going to make these T-shirts. Now I have the pleasure of explaing to him that there are people in the world that will steal from you because they don't care about anyone but themselves.

This just REALLY p***es me off...

Just after I submitted the original report, Ms. Williams sent my refund via Paypal. She said that she had been away because of a death in the family and that was why she could not send my refund. She made a comment about how people should have more sympathy for a greiving family, but how would I have any way of knowing what her personal situation was? It was three weeks of no response. At any rate, she did refund me in full, so this complaint has been satisfied.
