i saw an ad either on craiglist or hoobly (one classifieds website nonetheless) and she had been placing up for adoption 2 teacup yorkies which were brother and sister. her excuse for placing them up for adoption was because "they were given to her by her cousin who had just recently passed away". i felt bad but still kept my wit about the whole situation knowing she could still be a scammer, just with a really messed up lie. so i asked many questions, and we got to talking about how she was a very christian lady who would never want her reputation tarnished by scamming someone. i asked her if i could western union the money over to her so she herself could pay for the shipping and she said western union was about 2 hours away from her., and that shed just have someone call and email me about the payment options (which im sure was a scam obviously). She said she trusted me to take in this sweet little tcup yorkie puppy, and told me to send pics every so often. her emails sounded a little like broken english, or maybe shes just not educated. She reassured me id get the puppy, and im heartbroken now. this wasnt just a scam anymore she had actually hurt my feelings and broken my heart. She really had me going with this whole thing, sending me pictures until the date she wwas supposed to ship off the puppy. She said shed be gone for a few days and could not email me for that timr. She also  used the exuse that the reason the puppies were free except for the shipping was because she had talked to her pastor and he told her to give them away free to honor her cousin. then, she told me to trust her and believe she will not scam me. This whole thing started maybe mid december and the shipping would have  been around the beginiing of jan. she said if she had to put her on hold for me, it would be 50 dollars extra for feeding. if she was  a kind enough good christian she said she was, shed gladly feed the puppy out of her own wallet for free, knowing she was going to a great home. so anyway, the reason i found out she was scamming me was because i was browing hoobly for cute little teacup pups, just to see how my little puppy would look as well when i got her. i noticed an ad placed for "2 teacup yorkies for adoption" and from there it sparked my interest as that little puppy face looked quite familiar. it said she was up for adoption along with her brother, for free but shipping as 240. just like she told me. it had only been placed about 6 and a half hours before i saw it which was waaay after she told me she wouldnt have access to any computer for 3 days. then instead of her normal address (which she told me was in alaska) it had changed to bronx ny. thats when i started putting 2 and 2 together and unfortunatley starting to sob. i just wanted to be absolutely sure it was her so i checked the email and there it was the email i had been replying to for a little over a week.  then i clicked on it to see what else she just happened to be selling, and there was so many animals. ranging from turtles, monkeys, parrots, cats, and dogs, it was all there.  i was so disapointed and just really upset. she had been using 2 different emails for her 'pets' for adoption, which in her mind she probably thought was slick. so anyway, thats how i was scammed by this woman, beware before you are heartbroken as well.
