K&B Mode of Operation
1. Send you a card in the mail that says $400 or orientation and pay guarantee of $1089 per week/2500 mi per/wk and a minimum of .41 cpm if you are not on a weekly dispatch (in other words) work a partial week. You are supposed to get drop pay, etc.
2. If you don't work the way they want you to, which means they have it figured out how to go around the DOT rules of operation to make you work illegally...
The Following WILL happen to you and without ANY notice whatsoever:

You will be jerked out of the truck (and they don't care if you are tired from running your ars off) and all your gear will be boxed up and if YOU can't pay the bus company to take your boxes you lose your stuff. You are stuck on a bus ride home from Nebraska (at your expense) because it WILL come out of your paycheck.
I have an active Pay Day Claim pending with the State of Texas payday law against this employer.
My recommendation is that you document everything that they tell you by email so there is more ammunition for your day in court and whatever you do, make sure that you carry cash on you so you can get your own way home and get all your stuff out of the truck. In other words, pack like you are going to ride a bus home, I'm an experienced driver with over 20 years in the industry and this company is about as bad as what I've heard about JB Hunt.
Don't take a chance with your driving record and resume!
