I just want to advise anyone reading this that is considering calling a psychic to please save your money! I have called so many different psychics and have waisted so much money to the point where I was nearly in serious debt. To top it all off , none of the psychics helped me at all and not one prediction these many psychics gave me ever came true.

My last straw was with Keen. About a month ago I called a psychic who's name was "Gifted Intuition" and spent $8.00 a minute on a reading with her that lasted about 4 minutes. During the reading she seemed nice, and friendly ,but I just didn't feel she connected with anything I asked her, so when the phone prompted me to either pay for more time or rate the reading I chose to rate the reading, and I gave her 1 star.

After that I went to the website and gave my feedback ,pretty much stating that I wasn't satisfied with the reading. When I logged out I went to my Yahoo account to check my email, I noticed I had 2 new emails from my Keen account. When I went back to Keen to check my mail I noticed that the mail was from " Gifted Intuition". I was thinking to myself " How nice of her!", "She must want to give me some free minutes to make up for that crappy reading."

When I finally opened the mail I was so shocked I couldn't believe it! This lady had the nerve to ask me why I gave her such a bad rating, and she said the reason I didn't like the reading was because I was in denial about the situation. There was so many other things said I can't even remember most , but me and her went back and fourth emailing each other for about ten minutes , the last thing I remember reading before I finally blocked her was when she said to me that instead of calling psychics I should use my money to get more personality , and she also made this " prediction" about my life wasn't going to ever work out for me.

The more I think back about it I still can't believe it happened. I am very suprised at someone being so unprofessional as to taunt their clients with sensitive information that the client trusted them with.

Nonetheless , I contacted Keen's customer service , and wrote them a long email about the abuse I recieved from one of their psychics. I requested my money back , and that my account be canceled. I even gave them permission to go into my account and read the emails I saved from my contact with her as proof of my allegations.

A few days later I received an email from them stating that they were sorry to lose me as a customer , and that I was free to join back anytime. They gave me no mention of a refund , nor did they address the issue about the psychic I contacted them about. I don't know of anything legally I might be able to do about this but I sure wish I could do something.

Who in their right mind would confide things to someone you have never met, someone you do not know who you have not seen face to face ... The idea is a company sets up a phone services and subcontracts out the phone calls and refers calls to the telephones of the employees. The employees are sent a series of scripts to use with people of different age groups and genders with the concerns and the psychic predictions about those concerns. These are meant to get the client to talking and the longer the client talks, the more money they company makes and the more percentage the employee gets. The employee also gets a bonus for each person who requests them personally. AND THESE PEOPLE TALK IN BILLABLE MINUTES.It is the same way a Adult XXX-RATED PHONE SERVICE WORKS. These employees have NO psychic abilities whatsoever except they can tell you the more money you waste on them, the less you wil have to meet your essentials and this can be financial suicide for people on fixed inciomes. BUT THESE FALSE, SO-CALLED PSYCHICS DON'T CARE CAUSE THEY ARE ONLY IN IT FOR THE MONEY AND THE PERCENTAGES. This is the TRUTH. You have been WARNED. You might be able to recover some of your money if you SUE them for fraud. the hotline companies are counting on your embarrassment at being conned to keep you from filing any suit to recover your money. It is a CIVIL ACTION and you CAN file it. DO IT WITHIN TWO YEARS OF YOUR LAST PHONE CALL.

Psychics have no business emailing you based on the feedback you give them

Just as there is no disclaimer on their site which says I am charging you $8 a min to feed you crap in the first $40 you spend with me. After that I promise to connect with you if you are willing to cough up more dough. Please I dont know where these people get off trying to tell you spend more money to get an accurate reading. Someone who has the audacity to charge you that much money should at least be professional enough to not harass you with emails. This after you have paid them for their service and have the right to leave a deserving feedback. Which in your case reflected the poor service you got for the money you spent. And the so called psychic confirmed it by her unprofessional behaviour after the fact. You did the right thing by removing yourself from that site. Its nothing but a pit of lies and dispair and people who support it need to get a life. If you are providing a service be ready to receive some valued criticisim someone who is good is not going to consider it a dent in their pocket. But would rather take it to better themselves. But this is keen no one on it is ethical so this is infact a mute point.

I am sorry about the abuse you received. There are some genuine psychics on keen. However, what I noticed is that if you leave a 1 star or even elss than 5 you will be blocked. One man (SeventhSon) blocked me after I gave him four stars as I was questioning him methods. Essentially he takes extensive notes on you and then uses his powers of observation and comes up with a plausible common sense reading. NOTHING he has predicted has come true. In fact, even advice he offered me (which he drew from notes he took) would have devastated me had I taken it. I also sense that Keen readers share information. Have you noticed that they will all give you the same reading and yet it will be wrong? You can say..I spoke to 10 people and then all said...such and such will happen in two weeks.. All the readers confirm that and then nothing happens? They are intentionally misleading and then confirming each other so they all seem legit. I also noticed that if you leave negative feedback they will play with your head and start to tell you about evil things which will happen to you -- I got told this, even though I knew their predictions had no way of panning out...But they tried to play on my fears... They will also try to keep you on teh phone with chitchat....They know full well you are footing the bill and yet they choose to abuse that privilege by drawing out the call as long as possible to make maximum $$. Sweet Psychic is also pretty evil. She has no psychic ability but is a basic empath who can perceive energies. She makes outrageous predictions which cannot happen....And sees the worst in people. I don't know how many peoiple I asked her to read on whom she describedf as "evil." Sorry but I don't know any evil people, difficult maybe, but not evil. I think she is the evil one. Going back to the original post...You really had no business spending that much per min. I know how addictive Keen can be, but really $1 min readers are just as good as their more expensive counterparts. The price bears no relation to ability and usually better, more ethical psychics want to help and will allow for a full time. At 8/min...you should have expected an extremely fast, accurate reading. Of course, none but the bes tcould have provided it...so the bottom line is, the reader should not have charged what she could not deliver.

Seriously...4 minutes?

Seriously..I agree with Jane from NY..4 minutes is NOT enough time to do an accurate reading. I have had NOTHING but good things from Keen.com. I carefully research each psychic, and I have never had a bad experience. In fact, in one call, I only had enough $$ in my account for 5 minutes, and my psychic connected instantly, told me things that were AMAZINGLY ACCURATE and we closed the convo in less than 6 minutes, with me feeling super satisfied with her reading. Why would you expect a psychic to give you free minutes when you give them a 1 star rating? You should really step back and think about your near-debt experience. Maybe what you're going through is almost like an addiction. You cannot rely solely on advice from psychics for your life. They are here to "guide" us, not tell us exactly what to do. That's not their job. To depend so heavily on them kind of concerns me. Always trust yourself. As for keen.com, I have had NO problems, and I am 110% satisfied with both my transactions, AND my readings.

In 4 minutes you cant expect a perfect reading. You should at least give the reader that time to get relaxed, undo the cards, lay down the base. If it's too much money get someone else. It's not the reader's problem how much money you have to spend. You are a grown up - if you can only afford a certain amount, don't squeeze it out in a few minutes, go with someone who costs less. You do realize you have that option? Do you? Please...tell....me....you...do. Sounds to me like you wanted her to know everything in a course of seconds and you were all upset she wasn't telling you what you wanted to hear to boot. So she emailed you. You 1 starred her which can reflect how much money she makes and her business and her life! If it was a 10 minute phone call I would feel for you, but it seems you were pushing her. And to expect a pleasant email after a 1 star? It sounds delusional. The fact you are so hurt by an email and went crying to Keen just shows you you have personal problems IMO. You got a reading, you weren't happy, now trying to get her fired? Maybe you don't need a psychic, maybe therapy. Food for thought. ps - now run to ripoffreport and cry about my response. Doesn't take a psychic to know you probably will!
