Very unfortunately we have had a business agreement with Keenstate . We used a reputable well known estated agent in Acton who it now turns out very not experienced in rentals , who rented our property to Keenstate who said it was to house students for their language school. We then found that they were actually subletting the rooms and above the specific amount of persons the HMO from the council permits .

They then took advantage by actually damaging the property by doing what they called improvements, they made 2 bathrooms and knocked out walls , did unauthorized alterations to the property, these alterations are not vetted and done by authorised Corgi etc , so they are not legit.

We have had bed bugs, rat infestations and on top of it all they got a new property managed Svetlana Pocock , they claimed the rent they were paying was too much even though they were charging extortianate amounts to overseas students ie Spain, Italy etc , they then stopped paying the rent for the past 6 months.

To go through an eviction process is a very lengthy costly process and it has placed a lot of stress on the family member dealing with it .

The staff we spoke to have said they do not get paid regulary, they have a very high turnover of staff because of this. We have had meetings with the staff who have been quite aggressive and said very clearly we will make life very difficult for you, a scary threat to an elderly woman which they are fulfilling.
