I found an apartment on a website and Fraziers Realty was listed as the agent. I contacted them and set up a viewing later that day.
I met with the broker's assistant and the owner of the building, loved the apartment and was willing to sign. The broker did not take my money because it was a personal check but told them not to cash it just to show them that I was serious about the apt, still they refused.
The owner ended up taking my check because he wanted to rent the apt, all in all I was happy. I called Keith to renogotiate his 12% broker fee (for doing nothing) and told him I cannot pay that much can we go lower, he refused and said no he can go $200 lower.
I was upset because it was a lot of money to pay a broker for literally doing nothing, so I called him again to try and renogotiate and explain I can't afford it. He was so rude and nasty lecturing me about how big of a broker he is and he is this big shot guy.
Come to find out the apt is listed as No Fee and can be rented by the owner himself. I decided to go straight to the owner and deal with it myself. On top of all this Keith Frazier is still getting compensated by the building managers (I work in real estate and know there is always an agreement between landlord and broker).
So on top of this he wants to scam people out of their money when the apt itself is a no fee apt and he didn't even do any work. He also tried to have me pay $75 for his application fee when he knew the owner only charged $40.
People do not work with this man he is a scum ball, sleazy slimey business man. What he is doing is also illegal because he is supposed to disclose that he is getting compensated on top of his "fee".
Do not pay this man and never sign anything with him.
