Kelly Pope Kelly's RV Repair Kelly gave an estimate and due to being a small business needed upfront money to buy the equipment to be installed to the tune of $2700.00. Satellite Beach Florida
i had used Kelly Pope's services before the date of February 7, 2016 and he was good in diagnosis as well as prompt in installing needEd repairs. Therefore, I had no qualms about fronting the money for 2 TVs, mounts and satellite dish in amount of $2700.
Giving Mr. Pope 3 weeks to obtain the equipment and not having heard from him. I and my wife begin to call. Mr. Pope informed us it was easier for him to return text messages. For the next 4 to 5 weeks we texted Mr. Pope and he had first one excuse and then another, i.e. generator blew up in his face, could not see to work, having trouble seeing, doctors were not sure but what he might lose sight in one eye. On and on with first one excuse and then another
All the while Mr. Pope was continuing to do business repairing motorhomes at his home in Satellite Beach. When Mr. Pope was confronted with doing work for other people instead of doing our work he became angry and accused my wife of stalking him. He said he had someone working with him but this person was not capable of putting in TVs.
Finally, time for us to go on our trip in the motorhome. Contacted Mr. Pope and he said he would return all the equipment and return our money. That was in April. It is now the later part of June and we do not have our money nor the equipment.
Hindsight is always 20/20. Should have googled the name and found out that he really is a ripoff artist.
