I'm sure the person who was quickly to make the comment about growing up has lots of money to throw away and don't care if someone rips them off. I, on the other hand, do care. Fact is I paid for services up front. Martha Pollock, Resolution Committee Coordinator ([email protected]) emailed me stating "The Student Handbook, the Certification page of the Portfolio Experiential Credit Award (P.E.C.A.) forms and the website all state our 18 month program timeframe as well as our right to discontinue, change or alter programs as needs dictate." Also, "I do not know exactly when the University's Board of Trustees will approve enrolling students again, but I can certainly put you on the list to be contacted when we start enrolling. Please let me know if you would like to be added to the list." She sent me an email highlighting pages from their handbook. Funny thing is that they forgot to write the part about how they can lawfully keep the full paid tuition if a student becomes inactive. HMMMM... I emailed Martha a few times and she was quick to respond until I asked where it was stated they could keep my money. My wife and I both got scammed. Yes it is my fault because I didn't do my "homework" about the school. I was mislead like everyone here. I got the same response as everyone else and feel we are never going to get answers. I have been sending about 5-10 emails to Martha every couple of days. Still no response. (I do laugh) I suggest we all keep sending her emails. I am also trying to contact any board members, but that might not get us anywhere. I wrote a letter to the Higher Learning Commision (http://www.ncahlc.org/) hoping to get them involved but have yet to receive an answer. I suggest we write more letters. Maybe we can get more people with the same experience to petition or find a lawyer to sue them. Again the fact is we paid for a service in full and got nothing. They will not respond to us and they cannot leagally keep our money. We just need to find out how to get it back. Anyone interested in a road trip?

Oh come on. You have had three years to contact the school. You didn't try very hard. It is time you faced the fact that you didn't do what you should have done and as a result you are losing your $6500. Time to grow up kiddo.
