Kervandjian Family Limited Partnership KFLP Ripped me off for $25000 renovation to the unit for new higher paying tenant Mclean Virginia
I rented a 3 bedroom condo unit from this person who appears to own many rental properties. I never missed a rent payment during 4 years renewed lease without any work done to the property by him. He did not do any repairs, but forced me to pay for all repairs and maintenance to the property during the 4 years. When I decided to move out after 4 years, he got court summons and tried to force me out before the end of lease period, claming to the court that I was hold the last month payment. His allegation was false since I paid him with a late fees as he claimed.
Long of a short is that he forced me out of the unit demanding that he had to remodel the kitched and the contractors needed time to have the place ready for his new tenant for a close to $900 per month more rent. Even after my payment of last month rent of the lease, he contined with the same court filing and brought all his contractors and attorney crying to the judge that I did not maintain his unit resulting in a repair over $25000. He did not provide me with move in and move out inspection required by his own lease agreement. I hired an attorney to represent me for $2000 who basically did nothing but showed up at the court. For not having the details of his claims that were only presented at the court, I did not get a chance to defend myself. He sat in front of the judge and lied under oath, which is suppose to be a crime as we.
In conclusion, the judge granted him a judgement againt me for $20000 in reair cost and $5000 attorney fee. Where is the justice in this organized crime and fraud? He ripped of the tenant before me living in the unit I took over and did nothing to the unit before releasing it again to me. I will complain to every place I can to keep him from ripping innocent people off.
