I was approached by an entertainment promoter in January 2011 about investing in P Diddy's "Last Train to Dallas" pre-Super Bowl event. This was to be a premier event, hosted by P Diddy. The promotional media press release touted such comments as "P Diddy will host yet another legendary social soiree" and "Diddy is known for his legendary parties, and rest assured he will deliver yet another wall-to-wall packed, memorable, star studded event"
I was to invest $50,000.00, and my ROI was to be $30,000.00, paid that night from receipts. The contract spelled out that I would receive "first rites of all income", yet at the end of the night, I received $0.00! Kevin Sesay, the CEO of Play Pen Entertainment, and promoter of the event, kept blaming the low turnout on the weather. There was no "act of God" clause in our contract, so I told him, the weather did not matter. He owed me the money.
I then found out he had a separate agreement with the bar owner, that he would be guaranteed $30,000.00, which Kevin Sesay paid in full. In states no where in our contract about anyone else getting paid before me, so he had me sign a fraudulent contract and then did not pay me.
Then, I found out several days later, after I flew back to Florida, that he did not even have insurance to cover his losses. I called him and texted him about how this situation was going to be resolved, and he just said he had no money.....
This is completely UNACCEPTABLE!!!! I do not have a lot of money, and even had to borrow several thousand dollars from my children to come up with the $50,000.00 investment. I was assured that this company had a great reputation, and the money would be secure. I even checked them o ut on line and saw nothing to cause me alarm. This man needs to pay me back immediately!

I've invested with Kevin Sesay and it frustrates me to see an attack on his character. Investors need to understand that no matter how much due diligence is done, there are somethings such as the weather that you cannot control. In this case, all anyone has to do is to google the weather during the Superbowl that week in Dallas Texas. This storm was historical and stretched from Texas to New England and shattered records every where. Its sad that Linda cannot except that this time there was no money made and everyone took a loss becasue of the storm that drop 20inches of snow on the city. All "good weather" investors need to get out the game. Also, the "first right to income" is irrelevant. Income is considered an "accession to wealth" and in this case after overhead was paid, (ie. the 30 k to the club owner) there was no accession to wealth, they all lost. That's just the way it is.

It has been three weeks since I filed my report and to this day have not received ONE DIME of the $80K I am owed from Kevin Sesay and Play Pen Entertainment. This "man" has no integrity and is not even man enough to speak to me or return my communcations to work this out. He hides behind other people who will call me but they do not have authority to write a check or repay Kevin's debt.
All I get is B.S. and promises and NO ONE delivers. I was promised money from Diddy's Sunday party at the Super Bowl....nothing. I was promised money after the NBA ALL STARS WEEKEND parties....nothing.
Now, he has lawyered up and, even though Attny Warren Fitzgerald did call me, he was also supposed to follow up with a letter that evening, and again.....nothing.
Anyone out there looking to invest with Kevin Sesay of Play Pen Entertainment.....RUN, RUN, RUN the other way or you too will get burned and then no one will take responsibility.
It was not just me that got burned, either. I know of at least one other person who has not been paid yet either. Can you say Class Action Suit???
