Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We found mold and water damage in our 5th Wheel RV around mid December. The end of our manufaturers warranty was due to expire in January, so we called the dealership right away. They took note, however because of the Holidays, they would not be able to send anyone out till after the Holidays. After the first of the new year, the repairman came out and patched a few areas that he thought could have caused the leaks.

However after another storm came through we found we still had water damage. We contacted the dealership and arranged for our coach to be towed into them. We also contacted the manufacturer about the problem via Internet. Mr. John Armstrong responded to our complaint, requesting we send him the information in writting, and upon reviewing it he would see what he could do. After we complied to Mr. Armstrongs request, we waited one month with no response. So we sent him further E-mails, to which he finally responded that they would not deal with us, but they would respond to the dealership.

We informed Mr. Armstrong that if he did not respond to us as the law required, he would be looking at a lawsuit. To this he assigned a Mr. David Hilliker, he instructed us to take the coach into the dealership and upon it's arrival, to have them call him. When the dealership saw and smelled the damage, they informed us that it was beyond their capabilities, so it would have to be sent to the manufacturer. They contacted Mr. Hilliker, and instructed me to contact him likewise. Mr. Hilliker pomised us that the company would tow our coach to one of the facilities, and because we would be displaced we would receive $300.00 per week to help cover motel costs, and that if the damage turned out to be as bad a we discribed, that they would strip the coach down to the frame and then rebuild it.

We requested that they then give us a new warranty to which he agreed. We allowed two weeks to pass before contacting the Mr. Hilliker, only to find out that now Mr. Jeff Baker was the person we would be dealing with. He stated that he had all the previous correspondances, but he did not know of any pre agreed upon items. So we brought him up to date, to which he informed us that all but the $300.00 a week would be honored. He did go into great detail on what was being done to our coach, and he informed us to wait two weeks for test results to return from a company called mSolve and Fieble Tech, supposedly these companies where running tests so as to find out the source and type of mold. When we did call, we were instructed NOT to call again, to just correspond via E-mail. (It turns out that we kept to good of records of our conversations, and they did not want to honor any thing said.)

We did not get any response from them for another month, to which they sent us a copy of a partical report written by mSolve, and claiming that because we had lived in our coach, the mold was our fault. They sent the coach back filthy and not repaired three weeks later. We have since had to hire an Attorney and a RV Specialist, to which we found that the coach did have major leaks at all of the seals which was caused by faulty design. PLEASE BEWARE - the manufacturers DO NOT honor their warranties if you let them know that you have lived in the coachs.
