KFC Served a "SNACKER" that was filled with BONES. Palmdale California
On April 21, 2009 my 11 year old daughter asked if I could go to "KFC" and purchase her a "Snacker". For those who are unaware a "Snacker" consist of all white boneless meat in between two buns, with mayo & lettuce. I purchased two snackers and other items. I served one of the snackers to my daughter, and within minutes she began to "CHOKE". I look back without any hestiation, jump up and began helping my daughter cough up the food. My immediately reaction was that she chewed and swallowed too much. However that was not the case. The "SNACKER" was filled with "BONES". Oh how I quickly return to the Palmdale, CA to seek help but help was not helpful. I called their customer service number the day of the incident and no help there. I went back 3 times to the Palmdale location and was told on my last visit that someone from their Claims Department was going to call. It took until May 15th, 2009 for a representative from their claims department to contact me regarding the issue.. I was told that day that's it's not a KFC matter that I must speak with their "SUPPLIER". KFC was suppose to send me their Supplier information. But I continue to wait, after making calls after calls. I feel like this matter needs immediately attention. They put my daugther in a situation that was life threaten. What if I didn't know what to do or couldn't assist my daughter from choking. KFC doesn't communicate in a timely matter and to me I feel as if they didn't care. Someone please help us. I have the receipt. I kept a log of when I called and who I spoke too. Most of all I still have the bone filled snacker in my freeze, including the portion my daughter cough-up. I need help, because my daughter speaks about this matter everyday, especially when we drive pass that KFC!
