KIA Motors Of America The Optima Problem LEMON Irvine California
A new 2006.5 Kia Optima, bought at Power Kia in Salem, Oregon, crapped out in less than 2 months, and still over 2 months after it started having the problem, it's still not fixed and Kia Motors of America is dragging their feet on a resolution. After the sale, customers mean nothing to these guys!
We thought the car was lurching, but thought it might just be one of those things.
*clunk*
The engine doesn't die, but the check engine light comes on, and the accelerator is dead. Yes, it's happened againAnd now, I'm done. I don't want to see this car fixed, or otherwise, anymore. What I'd like to see is them buy this one back from me. I traded in two, count em, TWO perfectly working cars that both went around 30,000 miles without so much as a hiccup. And now this piece of has clunked out thrice in less than 3,000 miles. I looked, it failed at 2,998 miles
PLEASE, DO NOT BUY KIA! They may have an excellent warranty, but there customer service SUCKS! And you WILL need the warranty! We've had our car in the shop 5 times now for the same problem! It's been in the shop a total of 30+ days!
