SCAM - LIARS AND FRAUDS I am a single 65 year old female and have had the worst experience with Kia of Irvine! I found a car listed on CarGurus by Kia of Irvine. I didn't want anything extra on this car (I have many texts to prove it). I was told that the sales rep would be bringing the car to my house. I told them NOT TO COME until someone called me to go over the terms. That evening a lot guy showed up in pouring rain and dropped the car off. He had me sign a bunch of paperwork but said that Bastian would be back the following morning with the correct paperwork since it appeared wrong. This all happened January 16th 2023. I have many texts and emails to prove all of this. Finally Daniella said I would be refunded the $10,000.00 in extras that were not supposed to be added in. Then after weeks I call about it and she told me they had sent it to Capital One. They also ran my credit card for the additional $10,000.00 and it has not been refunded AFTER I told them not to. This has been going on for almost 3 months and I still do not have a copy of anything. No contract no paperwork NOTHING. Everyone there has lied and lied and took advantage of me in every way.

Kia actually made good on the issue I had.
They took everything extra off my contract and paid the difference to the financer.

The finance company (Capital One) finaly received a payment from Kia of Irvine reducing my car loan BUT they only paid $3590.00. The difference in what I purchased the car for and what my balance is, is STILL over $11,000.00.
I have requested in writing that someone there give me an explanation as to why only $3590.00 was paid to Capital One and I have not received any response.
I am a 65 year old single female and the only thing I have been told by Kia of Irvine's Gener Manager, Danielle Ortega, is that I am RIDICULOUS. $11,000.00 is a lot of money to me and I am beginning to wonder if they are ever going to refund my money.
I purchased the car for $28,293.00 I gave them a credit card number to hold and they ran a $10,000.00 down payment on it - I have it in writing NOT TO CHARGE MY CARD ANYTHING. Never the less the amount financed should have been $18,293.00. I (in writing) told them I didn't want anything extra added. So tax and fees should have come to about $3600.00 making the amount owed $21,893.00. Kia paid Calital One $3590.00 and my principal paid to date has been $1185.22 SO what I owe is $17,117.78. Capital One is saying that the payoff is $28,564.00. That is a HUGE difference ($11,426.22) and no one will even return my emails.
