The puppy was purchased from Kimmar Kennel's with all Puppy vaccination's. The Buyer and the Seller entered into a legal and bind written contract as to the disposition and care of the puppy, in regards to Breeding, Showing, and Pet Status of the puppy. Dog Sold under ant of these contracts have things that have to be completed before AKC Registration papers will be delivered.
If it's a pet quality puppy - It must be spay or neutered and proof provided to the seller proior to delivery of the AKC Registration Papers. If it is a SHOW Puppy - it must compete and be finished as an AKC Champion of record before transfer of AKC Registration (CO-Owned with Seller), If the Pet is a Breeding Quality Puppy - it must be returned to the breeder for Breeding to a Male that would improve the Gene Pool of the AMSTAFF Breed.
Apparently the consumer whom filled this complaint wanted to bully us, instead of taking us to court. Because the contract is made in Maryland, and Maryland has jurisdiction over all of our contracts, this individual was not willing to pursue the issue legally.

in agility, obedience, etc, you can get an ILP number from AKC. Of course spayed animals can't be shown in conformation anyway. I get so tired of "breeders" shifting the blame to AKC for late papers when in fact AKC is quite fast in turnaround. I have never had to wait more than 3 weeks for a litter registration or individual registration. Your pup is probably not eligible for AKC papers and that's why they won't respond to you. Glad you got a healthy, sound tempered dog, so many people get ripped off and don't even get that.
