To anyone in the NJ that just so happens to "by accident" make a pit-stop into this shady character's small itty bitty car lot. He will LIE and his WIFE will lie to you even more. The truth is he has attempted numerous times to reationalize about his unethical practice of selling cars and NOT disclosing serous defects about his cars. The BMW we bought , was looked at by numerous EXPERT and CERTIFIED mechanics since this horrible purchase expereince in February of this year. The car was found to have NUMEROUS OIL LEAKS for one thing and will confirm this for my lawyer when and if I decide it's even worth suing him for ONLY a portion of the expenses we incurred from then many problems they found.
Thankfully, his OWN mechanic was WRONG and it was NOT the OIL PAN gasket but the Valve cover gasket and the oil head-gasket "hose", in addition, to some other issues which we KNEW that would result in buying this car USED or ANY car for that matter. The car has since been repaired and ALL Error Codes and problems have been corrected after a $1484.00 bill. Again, some of the work & repirs , as much as I hate to say, were expected BUT as I wikl always contend NOT the OIL LEAK which was a MAJOR Leak I was later told, which was why my son, the driver of the car, always was smelling OIL and at times, seeing smoke eminating from the grill . This was the result of the 2 OIL LEAKS that MR TASHMAN AND HIS WIFE GAYE TASHMAN, WERE INSISTENT ABOUT AND CLAIM THE CAR DID NOT HAVE! Thankfully, the car is MECHANICALLY in good shape and running condition now after a hefty bill. We are also thankful that THE WARRANTY oddly enough after some headbashing with them as well, did COVER MOST of the repairs. Also, thanks to our mechanics finding the REAL CAUSES of the numerous mechanical problems this vehicle had. Two NJ attorneys did BOTH state to me that regardless of the worthless and vague and convoluted contracts I signed in too much of a hurry, DON'T protect him from "CONSUMER FRAUD". So, technically if I want, I can still recoup the out of pocket cost of $484, exactly but since the rest was paid BY the WARRANTY CO. Cars Protection Plus, and at least the majoirty of the repairs was covered. I feel somewhat vindicated, even though RANDY TASHMAN and King OF ALL CARS, a STUPID SUBSTANDARD SMALL USED CAR LOT in SOUTH JERSEY should be audited and shut down and they should lock him and his wife up and throw the key away for trying to RIP people off. That is ALL I have to say.. Have a NICE DAY, RANDI OH.. and don't forget, I have 1 1/2 years left to to file a small claims suit!!
You know who!!

I invite anyone who reads the post above to request to see Mr. Sicoli's paperwork he signed and the multitude of emails he had sent us. You can come in or I will fax them to you. I urge you to see it in black and white.
The night Mr. Sicoil came in the oil light came on during his test drive and oil was added because the level was low and the light went off. The car simply needed oil (they are cars and require oil occasionally, this is a fact).
The car Mr. Sicoli is referring to I drove for over approx. 4 weeks and not a drop of oil in on our white cement driveway! Not a single drop. When Mr. Sicoli called to complain that some mechanic told him there was an oil leak, so we asked him to come in repeatedly. He never did. We told him to check the oil level and keep an eye on it. In the 100+ emails he sent us and other agencies he never once mentions he had to add more oil once, nor mention that the oil light is on since we added oil at our lot (would'nt you have?). Anyway, we set him up with a mechanic up near him to save him the trip down and he should up to have the under carriage cleaned off and was asked to come back in two weeks to see if there was any indication of a leak and he never did return, even after the machic called him several times.
Mr. Sicoli then tells us that the oil leak is covered by a pan. Now I guess we have x-ray eyes too. It is my "guess" the oil, if there is any, could be over pour from a oil change or an old leak that was fixed, but I am guessing since we never saw anything or had the opportunity or the mechanic we sent him to.
We sell two things here to make a living, 1). "Used" cars and 2). Warranties. Hence the word "used". We encourage our customers to up grade their warranty with a warranty company we use that would cover more parts and labor and months for their piece of mind and for ours because that are "used" cars and we do not have a crystal ball. Whatever is not covered under the warranty is "As Is". Furthermore most used car dealers and sales people are not machanics nor profess to be.
We gave Mr. Sicoli at no additional cost, yes FREE (a $700 retail value) to him a warranty better than the one that came with the car. He choose not to upgrade that beyond that.
Our paperwork is very simple to read. It's not like you have to be a lawyer to understand or spend your day off reading it. A fifth grader can understand it. Mr. Sicoli signed them all cheerfully.
Mr. Sicoli has threatened us with court and consumer affairs and BBB and other places and they contacted us and dropped all of his claims after hearin/readingg our side and sending them all the simple paperwork he signed. I urge you to look into that as well if you wish. As a matter of fact not one attorney he contacted wanted to take his case because we did everything by the book and this man never has even proven to us or them there was/is a leak to begin with (not that we are responsible anyway).
Mr. Sicoli should have not purchased a car if the oil light was such a concern to begin with or had something in writing.
Folks, when you buy a "used" car anywhere on planet earth the warranty covers only what is outlined in the warranty the rest is "as is". If you buy a car "as is" is as is! They are "used" cars! The 4 top reasons a "used" car is sold are: 1) Someone died, 2) Someone lost their license, 3) Someone wanted a new car, 4) he car is a problem. We all hope it is not #4 but you have a 1 in 4 chance it is. So either buy a new car or deal with the chances of buying a "used" car.
One last thing...(I'm sorry). As a matter of fact this car was consigned to us after we lost our business COMPLETELY to Hurrican Sandy. A huge extreemly repitable wholesale dealer gave us this car and others to sell as a charity cause till we slowly got back on our feet. At anytime I drove that car for those weeks if I had seen oil or it did not check out by our machanic who checked it out, he would have taken it back in a heartbeat and given us something else. This dealer would not have given us a bomb after we just had been devistated.
Kindest Regards,
