I worked for K & R Distributing from Dec of 1997 to Oct 2000. In the time I worked there, they never mislead any of their salespeople or any customers. Yes, some days it was long hours, but it was well worth the time. I started out as a salesperson, made service manager in about 8 months, then took over the inhouse account after a year and then sales manager about 4 months after that. So, in a year and 4 months, I was service/sales manager.
Yes, Kirby is a door to door sales, and if you let the salesperson in, you want a Kirby. In my 2 3/4 years selling Kirby Vacuums, I never went in a house that didn't need a Kirby or already has a Kirby but wanted to upgrade to a newer model.
I would probably still be working there in I didn't have to move back to California to take care of my father. In closing, the owners of K & R Distributing treated EVERY salesperson as part of their family and if my life changes, I would head back to Idaho for a job with K & R Distributing

Listen Believe and Follow is what it takes for sucsess. K and R does offer a garantee like many sales based jobs out there. It is based on 2 demos a day witch is about half of what you can do. We have a telimarking room that sets us appointments usally 3 per day. It is not hard to get your 48 demos monthly if you show up to work and actually work. Some people have this crazy notion they should get paid for doing nothing. You get what you put into it. We have many sales people that are very sucsessful and have been with us for years. Others have went on to owning there own francies. I know sales is not for everyone but don't be bitter because you couldn't do it.
