Complaint Review: Kitchen & Bath Gallery - Los Angeles California

CARLTON RICKETTS is a deceptive con man.  He is a liar and a thief.  He will offer you nothing but excuses.  Expect him to demonize the customer and create excuses to blame everybody for his errors except himself.   He will steal from you if you allow him access to your valuables.  DO NOT LET THIS CON MAN INTO YOUR DOMAIN.  You have been warned.  CHECK THE BBB and you will SEE that he is dishonest and claims to be a Christian, just to get into the door.  He is unlicensed and BREAKS THE LAW. You do not have to pay him for any unlicensed work!  Trust me, it will be inferior and you will be paying someone else to do it ALL OVER AGAIN.  He is not a designer or a contractor, yet he pretends to be.  All he wants is your money.  He put me and my family in jeapordy by creating FIRE HAZARDS and TWISTED PLUMBING LINES.  RUN FROM THIS PERSON!!!  There are plenty of other legitimate places for home improvement.  I should have tAKEN MY OWN ADVICE.

Because Mr. Ricketts contracted without a license, I am requesting a refund of all of my monies so that I can have the work done properly. Furthermore, the law entitles me to sue Mr. Ricketts for my money back because he is not licensed. His work is horrible and he pays workers under the table and subcontracts without a license. He is untrained and lack the skills to competently perform a kitchen remodel, roofing, plumbing, electrical work. My kitchen is a mess. He has no business creating fire hazards in a house, the way he did mine. I demand he repair the damage to my appliances by crossing the hot water with the cold water line. I demand that he rebuild the cabinet housing he wash and dryer so that it will meet code and be properly ventilated. I want my money back for products I paid for but did not receive. This person who lacks skills of a competent contractor should not be trusted. I should have checked the BBB before giving him any of my money. He created a design that he could not produce and did not meet code. He used the cheapest products known to man so he could keep more of my money. He asked for money for materials and never produced them. He hired people he met at home depot and pretended as if he knew them, when he had just met them. This explains why none of them had any loyalty toward him. Mr. Ricketts is totally unprofessional and should be banned from business. This entire experienced has caused me to lose a lot of sleep.Complaint Summary Mr. Ricketts was hired to remodel my kitchen, roofing work, fencing work, drywall, floors and painting. Everything is substandard, cheap and wrong.Resolution Sought 
REFUND FOR ALL WORK PERFORMED BY UNLICENSED CONTRACTOR, MR. RICKETTS. He is dishonest and fraudulent. I especially want my money back for items I paid for but never received. I really want to warn others to be leery of this person. Although I have filed a complaint with the board of contractors, I am also filing a complaint here to warn others about this con man.
