KITTYWALK SYSTEMS, INC. Lise King and Jeff King sold defective product, then promised replacement in writing, then refused to honor promise, and customer service person Deb was rude and hostile Port Washington, New York
We purchased Kittywalk Cozy Cabin through TSC Pets website. This item looks great in the photo. We set it up and the zipper tab came off within 2 days of using it for the first time; and a couple of days after that the whole zipper broke. Since we were past thirty days since purchase (because we didn't use the item until we set it up for a road trip) TSC said we would have to deal directly with manufacturer.
We contacted manufacturer and were guaranteed by e-mail that we would get a replacement. We never did; and our subsequent e-mails were ignored.
We then called manufacturer to see if they intended to honor their agreement to replace the item. We were told that the employee who made the promise by e-mail was no longer employed there. The customer service person was very hostile and said we wouldn't get any replacement because we were outside the 30 day return.
I would never buy anything from Kittywalk again; and I would bet there are many dissatisfied Kittywalk customers who have thought about making a complaint against Kittywalk for ripping off consumers.
The owner of Kittywalk contacted me after we placed this complaint and offered to replace the item and did replace the item. The new Kittywalk Cozy Cabin looks good and works well.
