Dont Let it Happen to You! I was in pursuit of a blue pitbull puppy to adopt it. They are very expensive so I was trying to pay the minimal amount. I came across several that were selling and was trying to find the best deal. I e-mailed //// Kristen Dennison /// who was supposibly selling some. However, she said she didnt have anymore but reffered me to a friend of hers /// Sandy White /// and included Mrs. Whites bio complete with schooling, career and marital status (which I thought was a bit weird) but sad to say I was naive and in desperate need of this puppy.

I was completely naive and told her I would send the money right away (I needed the puppy like yesterday and was almost willing to do anything, and I did. Sandy then sent me the Western Union Information to send payment in the amount of $250.00 USD. And I immediatly went through Western Union to process the payment. Unfortunately, they are not responsible for fraud and there was no way of getting my money back if it was fraud. Sandy also sent me pictures of the dogs up for adoption. You can copy the link and paste it in another window if you would like to see the dogs in case you've seen the pictures before or after, so you can know not to get involved in this scam!

After the money was sent, and confirmed Sandy told me once she confirms the money has been sent, she will send Annah (the puppy i chose) on a flight to the US. Until the next day. She told me there was a problem with customs and the puppy was stuck in the UK with a threat to be quarentined if they didnt have some more money. At this point i kinda knew it was a scam and kinda played it cool. Asking questions and being very careful. Not planning to send any more money. But she kept asking me for more and more. Saying she is distraut and even blaming me for not being able to get Annah (the dog) out of this mess. I was very clear with her that this is not my fault and trying to find a way I could get reimbursed but it didnt look like it was going to happen. Ikept being pressured for more money and increasingly got frustrated with this and the fact that I could have been so naive but I finallly decided to let it go and once i googled her name and kristens name, this came up on the rip off report so i decided to write in. I would hope the scammers will get caught and not con anyone else out of their money. I'm just glad it was $259 and not $$700! Which is close to what they were asking for. Please find these scammers whoever they.

I believe I've already made a rebuttle on here years ago but this fraudulent statement continues to haunt me. I have been a victim of someone using my name, because it had a credible & upstanding reputation, fraudulently. I am the real Kristen dennison and I have never dealt with a Sandy White or anyone else mentioned in the problem. I have never even sold the breed of puppy claimed to be for sale in this matter. I've never had a hotmail email account. I would just like anyone out there doing there research to know that I would not still be placing puppies after 10 years if I was doing business this way. I've never been out of the country, I would never ask you to wire money to another country.

You are more than welcome to contact any of the references listed on my website. I am very open about what I do, how I do it. I treat people how I would want to be treated.

Trust me when I say, this accusation is 100% false. I have never had any association with these people mentioned or the sale in which someone wired money to another country to get a puppy.

same exact dang thing happened to me but the person used a different name!!!!! except she wanted 500 which she got and then another 520 for the "papers" thats when i told her what a horrible person she is and that karma will come back to her. I feel like such a fool! I even researched her name but nothing came up not until i entered the whole thing about the uk! gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

first off you didnt do your homework - so take it as a $250 lesson. Kristen's email is a gmail account and NOT a hotmail account...this could have been easily found on her website and would have saved you some $$$. I purchased a puppy from Kristen almost 2 yrs ago....i reversed searched her address, phone number and name before making ANY decisions....it ALL checked out!!! Kristen provided excellent service and delivered EXACTLY as promised...a healthy puppy. I 100% assure anyone who reads this crap about a scam has nothing to be concerned about....my conact info can be found on her website if you wish to contact me. scams are all over the place, but KRISTEN is not one of them....nuff said

Please be aware, both parties or e-mails (Sandy and Kristin) were working together. Whenever I said I did not have any more money to send to Sandy, Kristin would e-mail mr saying that Sandy is a good person and to please send the money as soon as I can. I didnt include the e-mail that stated the dog was stopped at customs so here it is so you wont send any additional money if you already have: Hello Jessica, The shipping agent called me a couple of minutes ago to say the puppies escort called him to say they had a stopover in UK he had to ship the pupp because their was direct flight to united state so he had to ship the pupp out to united kingdom to get a direct flight to united state from london , the puppy escort was about making a final flight arrangement but the authorities in UNITED KINGDOM asked for all vital document that was included along shipping the pupp,he later went ahead to say he submitted all relevant paperwork and documentation to the authorities,but after a couple of minutes the authorities claimed that the pupp cannot be finally shipped to United State except a custom clearance paper is included along shipping also that the health certificate has to be renewed before the pupp can be finally shipped to you or the pupp would be QUARANTINE for 60days,after much arguement with the authorities in UNITED KINGDOM,the authorities later made it clear that the a custom clearance paper would have to be prepared before your puppy can be finally shipped to you and the puppy health certificate has to be renewed,the shipping agent said it would cost about $250 for the customs clearance papers also with $160 for renewing the pupps health certificate ,pls i need you to send the money for the custom clearance paper and health certificate renewal to my shipper asap,so he can go ahead and prepare the custom clearance papers so your puppy can be shipped to you asap,i would be refunding back the $410 to you as soon as i get paid. Get back to me asap. Thanks.__________________________ So she was looking for more money from me and said she would pay me back. Which seemed a bit shady b/c i'm the only one who was putting money out and this was not my fault to begin with. The dates that dhe would get paid kept changing and when she knew she couldnt get the full amount out of me, she kept trying to get a portion, saying she had half and i would need to provide the other half. Even after I kept saying NO I DIDNT HAVE THE MONEY! _______________________ The last e-mail I received from sandy was her asking me for more money and when I replyed that I didnt have any more to send, I havent heard anything from her again. That was about 3 weeks ago. Then I saw that it was a scam, so im reaching out.

You are located in the US and choose to Western Union money to someone in another country to buy a dog? NEVER send money via Western Union. Why on earth were you attempting to buy a dog from another country? Because they told you the dog was free? GEeshhh please use a little common sense next time.
