Kwik Kar Charged almost double of the quote Copperas Cove, Texas
This Kwik Kar franchise in Copperas Cove, Texas has a $19.95 oil and filter change special advertised on their marguee that also states not for all cars. I called the company and told them the make and model car I had that required Mobile One oil and using six quarts of oil. I was given the quote of around $42.00. When I arrived to get the oil change the employee that gave me the quote directed me into the bay. After the work was done I was charged a surprising $76.63. That is almost double their quote. Talked to the owner and he could not care about the quote difference. Told him I was going to file a complaint with BBB and the owner said they could not do a thing to him. Do Not Ever Use this Kwik Kar location to change your oil or you will be ripped-off.

Thank you for bringing infomation to our attention. When you called you said what is price for oil change. Never mention to us that your car is required synthatic oil. If synthatic oil is costing company or consumer like you 8.99 qts and oil filte around 5 dollars. 8.5 qts of oil and filer woiuld cost how much?
I am sure you own car for long time and you have choice to use what munfacture of your car is calling for or just use any thing you want. if you want regular oil and filer it can cost $40-45 for oil change with 8.5 qts of oil. You have to ask if there is any disposal fee, taxes, how many qts of oil is required on my car, what type of oil you putting in my car.
if you come to me and tell me to do oil change and use what ever my Munfacture that recommandes sythatic oil for car, synthatic oil recommanded oil then it willl cost $75-100 on what ever shop you use for brand name synthatic oil, like mobil one, castrol, or pennzoil, valvoline, if you want house branded that may be $65-75 for 8.5 qts of oil and special cannister filter.
reder board says 19.99 upto 5 qts of bulk oil. most cars. YOu Must tell whole story not part of the story.
