Right above the NAPA recept is the cost of the filter from Kwik Kar. The dates are on both receipts. Both places are located in the same town. I saw NAPA oil filters located at the Kwik Kar and am ass

Kwik Kar in Mineral Wells Tx overcharged me for a fuel filter on a 06 dodge ram 3500. I bought the same type of filter 3 weeks ago for my 06 dodge ram 2500 and did the replacement myself. I paid $12.71 for this filter and it took me less than 5 mins to change. Kwik Kar charged me $54.99 for the same part not including labor. That is $42.28 more than the one I bought!!! NAPA where I bought mine from suggests a retail for $37.36. That is $17.63 cheaper than what Kwik Kar charged. KwiK Kar should not be allowed to mark up something over 75% more than cost. This is a total ripoff!!!
