Lady of America aka Salam Enterprises, Inc. Lady of America will not let me out of a scamed contract miami Florida
I have been going to this Lady of America in the Hammacks 14635 SW 104 Street Miami, FL 33186 for the past 10 years and always entered in a one year contract with this gym. I recently was asked to sign a new contract but before I signed the contract I asked the desk girl if this was a one year contract and she assured me that it was.
I recently was dignosed with bad spells of veritigo that I was not allowed to drive or think about doing any fitiness, this was stated in a letter from my primary as well as the specialist. They forced me to get their club form filled out which I did. When I presented it to them they stated that it was not filled out property. There are only two field on the form for the doctor to check off.
When I went to the Gym to request that they cancel my membership the owner Salam would not even look at me nor talk to me. This is not how a customer who has paid you for the past 10 years and never missed a month via an EFT payment.
When I approached her to request cancelation she insisted that I had singed a three year agreement. I began to explain that I did not. she presented me with the contract that I signed. It had several parts that were left blank when I signed it were filled out and even parts that were whited out.
As I talk to other friends that attended and currently attend the gym they tell me of the same issues that they were tricked into signing a three or longer contract.
The Attorney General should look into this establishment to find out how many fraudulant contracts that they engaged in.
I showed Salam where it clearly states on the fraudlant contract where it states that if you have a medical reason she can cancel it. She refused then she rudely asked me to leave since I was not a paying member or she will call the police when I instsisted that she cancel my contract and demanded an explaination why I was in a three year contract..
I emailed owner Salam at loa.salam_yahoo.com and she does not respond to me any more. I'm not sure what to do as I keep getting collection notices.
