Landmark Merchant Solution ripoff-unfair and deceptive practices related to credit card merchant/website and billing Decatur, Georgia
This company has lied from the word go.We signed a contract in November 2003. When the web-site developement began, we started having trouble at every stage. We had to hire a web-site developement team to oversee the progress. Paying additional monies because we depended on the web-site to generate business. After countless telephone calls to complain about the service, e-mail follow-ups to the telephone conversations and messages, We finally had to hire a new company to re-do the web-site and make operational our shopping cart, which never operated, with Landmark Solutions. The following is a correspondence sent to my salesperson trying to get resolved the ongoing problem of a web-site that six months later did not function.
Hello Steve,
As per our conversation, I am faxing you the information requested. Please be advised that we have on two prior occassions faxed and e-mailed this same information to your (IT)department.(February 2004)(April 2004)
As stated in our contracgt we were expecting our website to be operational in a timely manner. As to todays date, May 18th 2004 we are still not able to bring the website up on line. The loss of revenue to my company is at the heart of my repeated efforts to bring about a rewarding conclusion.
Steve, I look forward to hearing from you soon, I signed my contract on 11/16/03, because of your strong salesmanship skills. I hope they will work to straighted out our problems.

This letter was met with no additional help solving our problems. Landmark Solutions did fax us the following note.
Dear Merchant
Your website is not complete and is being handed over to you. You have access to make all edits to the site at your convenience. This coming after the contract states,that our site will be professional designed and hosted for the life of our contract.
Please stop this company from robbing people of their dreams and hopes by taking money without providing services. In addition to all else, once we started with using our merchant machine, with no letter or conversation they increased the fees from 1.49 to 1.69 per transaction.
