Complaint Review: Langua World - New York New York

I reconsidered taking the Indonesian classes that I registered and paid for at Langua World because I am a graduate student and already have a heavy course load. After asking for a refund from Langua World, they refunded me for the course and also offered me one free Indonesian language course. I appreciate the accommodations that Langua World has made for me.

I find it quite unbelievable that Sandrine is quoting 'codes of conduct' and stating 'procedures exist to be followed'. I filed a law suit and won a judgment against Langua World. Sandrine never paid. The sheriff has visited this place twice to collect the debt and she still refuses to pay.

She claims In the US, you need to leave when we ask you to. Well, in the US you also have to pay when the court and the sheriff say you must. What sort of establishment has this many complaints about payments, and has the sheriff and the police stopping by?

I am following up with letters to the New York Attorney General with copies of the documentation from the sheriffs office as well as the documentation from the suit.

I am a French girl, i was working for Sandrine Samperi during 2weeks. She is very rude and very disrespectful, she had a bad attitude. She treat people like an animal. She didn t pay me back and when i call her she didn t pick up the phone. ( hang up many times). I went to the office on 353W 48th street to have my money but she moved. So i will go to the police as soon as possible. The story is so long, i have some message and mail menace from her.
I have also some questions about your action, if she pay back your money,....

Adelina's husband forced himself into my classroom after i had asked him several times to leave the premises, according to the police he is not allowed to come back to our facilities ever again and the police did ask me if i wanted to press charges against him especially since he was supposed to leave when i asked him to, the police told me to call them immediately if he ever would come back, and that they would arrest him. I had no further time to waste on that poor guy to have him go to jail last night, we have a note on the door that says " by appointment only", Adelina has been working here for a while and should know the policy and the code of conduct, invoices are to be submitted on the 30th of each month, not 3 months later and pay checks go out on the 16th after we review all documentations, her husband is mistaken the police for the civil court and my place for a public park, his obnoxious behavior is not going to take him anywhere in life! In the US, you need to leave when we ask you to, you are not going to get your way just because you decided that you wanted to get paid on your own time. Procedures exist to be followed. We are suing both of them now for materials and physical damages which will cost them more than they ever thought of.

Let us clarify, It was me who called the police and it was the Police who made a comment on how rude and nasty Ms Sandrine was, unfortunately when you run from people who you owe money to, you should not be surprised to eventually see them at your door. When i arrived under the premise i wanted to pay money for class she was warm and welcoming, when she found out my real reason for the visit the attitude changed into 100% animal. I called the police and they arrived I calmly explained the situation, they addressed Ms Sandrine who then came to ask me if I wanted to file a report against her, I declined as a gentlemen knowing that this would only further inflame the situation and put the already broke and desperate Sandrine into further trouble ( read the other report where a customer filed a claim against her in court, won and now she has defaulted on her court ordered payment) I agree that the student must have been alarmed but what was more alarming is that MS Sandrine took what was basically a verbal dispute over nonpayment for teaching services rendered to a physical level with a grown adult man. The only thing that saved her this day was her gender because a man NEVER hits a woman and that's thatthis being said this woman keeps running her mouth and that isn't a healthy thing to do especially when you don't really know who you are dealing with. very dangerous thing to do these days a lot of crazy people out there Sandrine you should look over your shoulder every step you take the worlds watching you , and based on the interned buzz they all know you're a scum bag.keep up the good work in that miserable rat hole you call a school more like a closet with desk in it. This individual actually assaulted me while i was teaching, i have a student who can prove it, he also broke a couple of things in our hallway before leaving, leaving glass all over the place, the police came to check if everything was ok and inquire about the glass spread all over our hallway.
