Larry is my biological father and after being told by various doctors that it would help to know my family history, on my father's side, in treating an unspecified autoimmune disorder, Larry refused to give me any information. I feel it is a birth right to know this information.

Nor he or his brother, George Blevins, will tell me anything about my grandparents, how they died, where they are buried, or any family health history Larry left my mother when she was 7 months pregnant with me in 1962. I have letters from him to my mother saying that I would never want for anything. As I have told him, I do not want money, blood, or donation of organs. I just want my family history.

His current wife may not know anything about my mother or me; however, I can prove he is my father, and I just want health history from his side of the family even though he likes to deny now that he is my father.

Dear Mr. Blevins,

That would be very nice of you to let me know about my grandparents (your parents) and family health history.  Your brother George, had my email address at one time.  I wrote him twice and never heard from him as to my inquiry about an email address for you. A friend of mine, who is an attorney, looked up an address and phone number for you that she thought was recent (the only reason I mentioned she was an attorney was to let you know it was easier for her to help me find you- like I said, I do not want for anything, but family history). We do not need to talk by phone, but could email instead.  I do not mind emailing George again, if I know he will forward the message and not delete it.  I realize you and my mom were kids when I was born.  I do not hold that against anybody.  I just want some background information for my doctors and am tired of putting question marks down for "Father's Family Health".   I know my mom and grandparents were not happy to let you or your sister see me after I was born, and I know that made it more difficult, if almost impossible for your side of the family.  However, you knew about me somewhat and I have proof if you need me to scan documents and letters to send/email to you.  My mom did remarry, but I was two years old.  The man she married has been there for me and is my dad; therefore,  you need not worry that I will disrupt your life. I would just appreciate it if you could tell me about my biological grandparents and family health history.

Sincerely,

Sonya
