This company refuses to give anything in writing, and will only take huge amounts per month to release the debt, they also will only take checks over the phone, so they can stel it from your accounts, they are scum, and someone should put a stop to there company.

This guy and his scumbag firm are finally being hauled into court here in Atlanta, Georgia. He even has the audacity to try and claim that he does not have to comply with credit and collection laws, respond to supboena's for evidence, because he is a LAWYER. States that even though he is collecting on debt because they are a law office they are immune from fair credit laws. Admits to having 100s of thousands of files of zombie debt that they are harassing consumers about. DO NOT EVER give this guy or his firm a dime. Turn the tables and haul HIM into court for violating credit and collection law!

Read about this bottomfeeder and their toxic mold problems in their offices and how to deal with them. Also read dealing with Collectors 101 (you have to scroll down to it on the home page) Collection agencies do not want you to know about this website. STAY OFF THE PHONE - NEVER EVER TRY TO NEGOTIATE WITH A DEBT COLLECTOR! you said they refuse to provide anything in writing - that IS ILLEGAL for them to do. Apparently you know nothing about the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act Federal Law that this bottomfeeder breaks regularly. You did not state whether you sent them anything in writing? Debt collectors never do anything with verbal requests - it has to be in writing - Certified Mail Return Receipt. They are required by law to validate the debt and cannot collect a debt that is beyond on the Statute of limitations for your state. But YOU HAVE TO EDUCATE YOURSELF first.
