Lawns Unlimited of Iowa Guaranteed tree died, guarantee not honored Bettendorf, Iowa
I bought several trees from this company and paid a premium to have one of them planted and guaranteed. The tree they planted never looked healthy and I visited the business twice during the 1-year warranty period to ask that the tree's health be investigated. The owner basically ignored the problem and said to water it more. I followed all instructions, but the tree never rooted. Now, the tree is dead and the business said there is nothing they can do about it. The tree was not healthy and did not establish roots during the warranty period. Just because it died after the warranty does not mean the issue did not originate during the period when the tree was "guaranteed." This business made no effort to rectify the situation during the warranty and now refuses to take any responsibility for their inaction.
