Lawyers Guide, Inc. doing business through lawyersguide.com is quite a set up. First of all potential clients can search you and find a "listing" that you did not authorize. One disgruntled client or some one who just wants to defame you (ex wife, angry boyfriend, neighbor) can write anything they want and it will show up in a search engine under your name.
Call lawyers guide and they don't pick up the phone EVER....try to email them and get nothing back. They do have a "SALES" department but if you register a complaint first, dont ever expect a call back. EVEN WORSE than ruining lawyer's reputations, members of the general public MAY BELIEVE the information on this website and pass up a good attorney or go to one who simply has paid these people for a listing they can manipulate.
MESSING WITH LAWYERS? They must be so sure, they can get away with this. Unbelievable, but wait till it happens to you. Some people will go to any length to make money on the internet, but this is sickening.
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A LAWYER, go to the local Bar association, ask friends, relatives and co-workers. Anyone can write anything on the internet it seems...and there are always those looking to take advantage.

They still do not answer the phone or respond to emails. I found the office address of 111 Frisco Drive, Harvard, IL 60033 and went on Google earth....It looks like a big lot full of cars and trailers...ANYONE have any other information? This is looking curiouser and curiouser (I think thats from "Alice in Wonderland".

Dont be fooled by this. I heard this is a new trend, internet marketing companies list you on the "professional" sites...then when someone puts a negative remark about you, they want you to "buy" control of the listing...Anyone else a victim?
