LCD Enclosures Global Graham Gallagher, LCDEnclosures.co.uk Factual Report of Lack Of Delivery Of Pre-Paid Product Cambridgeshire, Internet
I contracted with, and paid in advance in full, to Graham Gallagher of LCDEnclosures.co.uk to manufacture a custom LCD enclosure. The LCDenclosures.co.uk website lists examples of satisfied customers receiving custom solutions within 21 days.
When Graham Gallagher told me that the lead time for my product was 3-4 weeks I believed him.
After the 4th week I emailed Graham Gallagher of LCDenclosures.co.uk to check status. After receiving no response, I began to receive conflicting stories as to the ship date of my product.
I continued to email to receive and exact ship date, Graham Gallagher became increasingly irate with my inquiries, and continued to tell conflicting stories.
Finally I was told the product would ship on 5/16/11. I emailed Graham Gallagher to confirm the ship date and he did not respond.
As a result of his lack of response I filed a report on this site. Upon notification of the report Graham Gallagher of LCDenclosures did the following:
1. Threatened legal action.
2. Implied a threat of violence to me and my family.
3. Began a campaign of extortion, suddenly the product is available for shipment but Graham Gallagher has indicated to me numerous times that he will only ship the product to me if I remove this post from ripoffreport.
I have extensive documentation of all his threats and extortion attempts, all I want, all I have ever wanted is my money back or my product.
Hopefully my experience will help prevent others from a similar experience with Graham Gallagher of LCDenclosures.co.uk

The refund was given last year (May 2011) and as you can see he only acknowledged receipt in March 2012 after we emailed him and he responded to our email below.

Finally a refund

The company finally refunded my money. Here is a copy of the email I received from the owner. Another example of strong arm tactics-all I wanted was my product or my money, finally got my money after a lot of stress and nonsense.
Caveat Emptor-Make your own decision on who to deal with when purchasing these type of commodity products. This was my factual experience with this manufacturer.
His email to me dated 3/11/12

Brian Bober is not to be believed, our website does mention delivery in 21 days for STANDARD products NOT custom made units, he was informed of the extended lead time due to the custom nature of his request as the time of ordering. We no longer manufacturer custom units.
We have been inundated with emails from Bober and in one day alone our server went down due to DOS attack (hosting company told us) and this was Brian Bober emailing us! We informed Bober regular updates until he started posting lies and false information on line.
Bober was informed that the unit was ready to ship but rather than retract or post a retraction on these posts he ignored our requests, so after seeking legal advise we refunded the full amount paid back to Bober and we have now issuing legal proceedings for liable issues.
At no time did we imply physical threats, however looking online it does appear that Brian Bober is known to the police and should be a warning for anyone dealing with Brian Bober.
It is odd that Bober also submitted the same issue (post) 2 days earlier on the same site, even though he had been infromed that he was getting a refund! Hiding behind the fact that the site does not remove posts...
Bober states that he will update everyone when he gets the refund - up to now no update even though the refund has been cashed several months ago now, proving he tells lies and is not to be believed or trusted.
