Leder Transport Inc. ripoff Scamming drivers to work without pay Kansas City Missouri
Leder Transport Inc. deceptive company Stay away from them unless you want to work for free!
I am a 40 year old married man with 4 children and was looking for a company that had a lease purchase program. I was reading in a trucker's magazine and came across Ledar Transport.They had what I was looking for. So I inquired through e-mail about orientation and what needed to be done to get started. I went when I was scheduled to start. From the beginning I knew something wasn't right. They were very rude but I signed paperwork and was on my way.
The truck didn't even pass DOT inspection. The first day on the road I got a ticket for out of adjustment brakes. Had to call a road mechanic to come correct the problem. Total cost $315, mechanic and ticket.
They make you run illegal. More hours than DOT allows. I worked there for over 6 weeks and never got a paycheck. They told me I owed them instead. I was supposed to be making 80 cents per mile loaded or unloaded. I ran an average of 3,000 miles per week. What happened to the money I was supposed to be making?
Anyone who is even thinking about going to this company be prepared to work for free.
