When I purchased a used Dodge Grand Caravan in August 2002, I also purchased an extended Daimler Chrysler Service Contract for $1600 + tax totaling $1736. I was told this was a bumper to bumper warranty by a young salesman eager to make a sale.

Turns out it was only a power train warranty. My fault for trusting a used car salesman and not double checking the copies of the documents returned to me in the nice vinyl pouch. But it was late and the kids just wanted to get into their new car.

A little over a year after the sale, I went to a different Dodge dealer for some repairs and found out the Caravan was never covered by Chrysler. Lee Dodge had never sent in the paperwork and kept my warranty money. I have documents from Daimler Chrysler stating they never received my contract.

After weeks of trying to resolve the problem with Lee Dodge with visits and unanswered calls, I finally received a call back from the owner Robert Lee. I told him at this point, I just wanted my money back since I never had the service contract I paid for. He told me to "just try to get your money back". He said he would tie me up in small claims court forever since he's been through this before and he said he never loses. He said it only cost him a few bucks to go to court and will keep postponing and making me loose work to show up each time. I paid Lee Dodge $1736 for a Daimler Chrysler Service contract and never received one. I just want my money back!! This may be a game to Mr. Lee but it's a lot of money to my family and me.
