The one thing legal meds told the truth about is that they offered a 100% money back garauntee which I never recieved from them. I did give my account number but only because I was told I wouldn't be charged unless I wanted membership or meds which I decided I didn't and even if I did I told legal meds I was totally disatisfied so where is my 100% money back garauntee now? It would be different if I was the only person with this complaint but as you can see on rip-off report I am not. There are many. Someone somewhere took $90 of my hard earned money for nothing. I have very good medical insurance which I only pay a small co pay for my medication so why would I want to order medicine from a site that doesn't even accept insurance? if I did somehow accept membership (and I am not saying I did) but if I did it was an accident and I didn't understand what I was doing and I immediatly emailed to cancel as soon as I relized that legal meds was charging me for something I didn't want, so once again what about my money back garauntee? As far as having 24 hour service that is a complete lie. I don't care if the web site says it has 24 hour service or not. I emailed them dozens of times with absolutly NO response. The only time I got an answer was the 2 or 3 times I happened to get on the site when there was a live represenative on the site. If you read the rest of the reports about legal meds you will see they all had the same problem about being contacted or getting ahold of someone on that site.

We're quite sorry that you were unhappy with your legalmedsonline experience. However we felt it important to respond to the numerous inaccuracies in the report that was filed. The most important wrong concept to clear up regards your idea that you we're charged simply for "checking out some prices". This is simply not true. Obviously we could not have charged you anything without you first giving us your account info. Furthermore all of the pricing available through us is viewable before becoming a member. To even further avoid the possibility of any confusion on the very same page as the signup form the following statement is posted: "We guarantee you the lowest price available online for your medications or your money back! While we are not a pharmacy and do not directly fill prescriptions, We are so confident that our subscription service offers the lowest prices on medications that we offer a 100% money back guarantee!" It is hard to be more explicitly clear than that. It is also important to understand that this particular complainant purchased a membership on two entirely separate occasions, to two entirely separate sites, more than two weeks apart. So, far from mysteriously being charged, she willingly entered her ACH information on two completely different dates. With regard to our methods of contacting cutomer service, they are numerous. You can see these for yourself by clicking the 'Contact' link on the site. We have 24 hour toll-free phone support, round-the-clock email access and live chat operators online for much of the day as well. Accounts can be cancelled at any time through either of these three means. As far as Global Processing is concerned what you were told is absolutely accurate. They were one of our authorized third-party processors. Their service became unreliable for a number of reasons, including the lack of expediency in their refunds and quality of their customer service. They also did not pay us out for numerous weeks so it was necessary that we stop doing business with them. Third-party processors are, however, the ONLY way that we can either debit or credit anyones account. When we cancelled the complainants accounts on 1/28/05 we submitted them for refund, however Global has chosen to ignore those refund requests. We never received the funds and they are the only way that they can be refunded. Two things that the complainant can do: Firstly, your bank is giving you incredibly bad customer service. They most certainly can replace the funds into your account, in fact they are required by law and their merchant agreement to do so within a certain period of time after you submit the affidavit in writing (it MUST be done in writing, they are not bound by telephone or personal conversation). They also can assist you in charging back against the bank that Global uses to process charges. Secondly, you can call Global Processing directly. They can be reached at Global Processing: 1.813.962.7770 If you have additonal questions please feel free to email us at any time, take advantage of our toll-free number or interact with our live chat operators through our site. regards, legalmedsonline
