OAKLAND PARK,#2REBUTTAL Owner of company

While perusing the internet I ran across this "complaint" from an alleged customer who supposedly came to my shop over 3 years ago. Actually the complaint was submitted more than 3 years ago so when the supposed event occurred it had to have been close 4 years ago. I have been informed in advance that my rebuttal must be "on point" and not vague or it won't be accepted and displayed. My conundrum is that I need to be specific as possible about a complaint that is very vague as to the details. That's an irony. I will do my best. The complainer whose name is Cindy says "Defective transmission placed, cracked clutch plate placed, did not connect cables or hoses as reported, clutch pads worn and defective when placed, did not address a crack in the housing. Refused to follow their stated warranty of 90 days parts and labor." By "placed" I am assuming she means replaced. She states that my shop "placed" her transmission but gives no details of whether we put in a new, rebuilt or used transmission. She gives no date when the work occurred, no description, year, make and model or even what type of engine so their is absolutely no way I can find a receipt to help me respond to the complaint. The shop she says she took it to should have stated their opinion of what happened in writing but they apparently didn't. I would have had an easier time understanding a technicians terminology and analysis. Instead I have to assume that when she says "clutch pads" she means clutch parts, disc and cover but I would be only able to assume and you know what happens when you assume anything. If this rebuttal is turned down because of "vagueness" it is because the complaint itself is very old and too vague to respond to. "Fraud", a strong legal term she uses term and slander is another legal term for making false statements about someone in public. Given the length of time and the lack of specificity on her part I think it is time to retire this abuse of my good name. Lenny
