Lenox Capital Credit Card ripoff Marietta Georgia
I was on the Internet looking for a credit card to start my credit in my own name. Sharon(Sherry) Becker. I filled out an application and then received a phone call. I talke to the sales representive. She told me that there was a one time fee of $221.00 for a $2500.00 credit card.
I told her that I would like to read over all the material that she was going to send me and I gave her my bank information and told her the withdrawl date would be January 16th. That would give me two weeks to look over the material to see if I wanted the card. Nothing came in the mail so I called the phone number she gave me and it was to some cell phone business.
I went to my bank to stop payment but was told they could not stop an automatic withdrawl. The company took the money so during some research I found the company. I called and got a total different story and was told I would receive the card ten to fifteen days after they received payment.
I told them that I wanted my money back now as I have researched their company and realized they had a scam going on. The gentleman told me that they did not and would send me a refund sheet to sign to get my money back. You, guessed it as of today I have not received anything! I do not want anyone to fall into a trap like I did.
