To whom this may concern,

My finace and I took my step daughter to buy some glasses for her and looked at a few frames for my self. By my surprise they went back while I was away on a business and which ment that thier famous 30 day exchnage was up. Now I go into the store my daughter has hers glasses and now I'm explaining that y finace tried to do a good things but NOW MONTHS later do to the run arounds I find myself with a rather expensive new pair of glasses that has never been worn and only because the colour is not anything that I woudl ever want to wear. I asked for them to exchange the frames because the colour chosen is not something that I woudl ever like to wear per say.

My daghter has now gone back herself because the arm broke off on her frames and they have let her chose a completely new frame. I dont undertsand this and I am not rich. I need my new frames and they were a new perscription as well which I shoudl have started wearing them months ago.

I am not made of money and with the cost and the money spent I believe I should have more offered to me. I am not arguing for pennies hereI should have something that satisfy's me.

I would like to know who will take action for this so that a satisfied customer could keep coming back.

30 Day Return Policy

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Their 30 Day Return policy is pretty solid. Granted, I can understand that you were not happy with the glasses your family picked out for you, but that is their standard policy and usually are pretty firm about it. What your family should have done was purchased a gift certificate from that store and allowed you to pick out the glasses you wanted when you returned from your trip. As far as your daughter is concerned, the reason why they probably let your daughter pick a different frame was that they probably did not have a new frame in the store to replace the one she broke. Lenscrafters will usually replace the frame with a new one from their inventory. However, there are situations where the store may not have the frame in stock or it has been discontinued altogether. In these situations, the company will allow you to pick a new frame to replace your damaged one under your warranty @ 50% of the cost, as long as the new frame price doesnt exceed what the retail price of the original frame picked.
