I took my car in for repair of snow tires. They advised me that I needed new tires and that this was the last year for my tires. Later that year, I took car into another tire store, asked them about whether I needed new snow tires. My reason was to figure whether I was going to keep the tires or not keep the tires... They stated that my tires would last 1-2 more years--- "NO WORRIES"...

I will never trust another les schwab tire store!!! If they need to lie to a person to get them to buy what is not needed, then they are not to be trusted!!

who do you run to when you have a flat les schwab right cause in your minds we fix it for free. We take care of customers and not charge for tires that wasn't bought from us to help you and hope that you'll return for future tire or other purchases, we are starting to chagre customers like you for flate repair that you have to set up appoinments for and wait too long to have done from the store you purchase from. Scott correct on the issue of advising you about you tires conditions. look at the dot # on your tires as for the side wall for weather checking(cracks) and if studded check for missing ones etc. if not measure the thread depth with a penny,if most of abe head showing then time for tires. GOOD LUCK

Its impossible to tell anybody how much life is left in a tire. There are too many variables to consider. Use a little common sense and look at how much tread is left, or see how many studs are missing, and or be conscious of skidding to a stop or when braking. Tire technology has come a long way and gets better all the time. scotts' training only includes scare tactics, and thats why you should stay away from LS. look how he is treating you now. great customer skills there buddy.

Other tires stores in the same area as a Les Schwab Tire Center only have one thing on their minds, to take business away. The snow tires you have on your car are probably only good for another year. We take alot of things into account when inspecting tires. The age, tread depth, and overall condition. When you went to the other tire store they saw you as an opportunity to take business away from Les Schwab. So if you feel safe then so be it. But don't come crying when you have your snow tires put on next year and they fail.
