I signed up w/ this guy to sell Discount Travel Packages for his company on Ebay, instead he has me listing DVD collections. At first, he responded to my emails expressing concern and gave me his cell and business numbers but just got busy signal and voicemail. Anyway, ended up selling 25 of these collections and actually sent him the money. However, people starting inquiring as when thier purchasses would arrive and the tracking number. The guy stated he would provide tracking numbers of the orders he shipped but he never did. I was able to refund some of the money to the people and the others I have to refund out of my pocket, needless to say my reputation as a reliable seller thru Paypal and Ebay has been damaged and I have had to pay back $2400.00

Steve has been pulling this scam for over six months (I was a prior victim). eBay and Paypal do nothing. On this web site, if you just key in RAINEY you'll get about a dozen hits. Go to the one dated April 29th and see the response at the bottom. OR ... Go to eBay web site, click on "site map" at the top, thence click on the TRAVEL discussion board (in the right column). You can contact some of the others who have been in your shoes. I can also suggest contacting the Shelby County Sheriff's office in Columbiana, Alabama.
