On June the 8th I was suppose to recieve a sofa that I had paid for. The delivery truck came and handed me a paper that I signed and then they attempted to give me a box.

I told them that this was not what I ordered and they took the box with them. I went back in my house and called the warehouse to report this. The lady at the warehouse told me that they would call me in the morning to deliver my sofa.

I never recieved a call the next morning so I called them back around 3 or 4pm. The lady told me that they would not be able to deliver it today but that it would be taken care of.

I never recieved a phone call back I called back and the same lady told me that she would get the manger to give me a call back but no one ever called me back so I called again and they said that the manager was too busy to call me back. So I went to the store and talked to the sales rep who sold me the sofa and told her what happen she told me to call the customer care line.

I told my story to a supervisor who said that she would call the warehouse and give me a call right back I never heard from her again. I then call customer service again and got the same supervisor who claimed she was just getting ready to call me but she had no answers to where my sofa was and I never talk to her again.

I then filed a report with the BBB after a conversation with a second supervisor and the customer care center. Her name was and she told me that she would email the warehouse and see what was going on and then call me back. I still have not heard from her.

The lady at the warehouse admits that I did not recieve my couch but they are trying say that since I signed the paper then that mean that I recieved it but I got nothing and it makes me see just how untrustworthy they are.

I have called every single day since my couch was suppose to be delivered and everytime I call the warehouse the managers are too busy to talk to me and they have never called me back there names are Nailoi Savali and Nick Diprowski.

I have tried my hardest to work with them just to get them to deliver the sofa that I paid for but now I am fed up with their poor business practices and just want my money back.

I forwarded your report to the Store Manager of the Santa Clara Store. He had no prior knowledge of your delivery problems and he needs more information from you so he can look into your purchase history in-order to assist you. The service that you received is not acceptable and he has agreed to personally solve your dilemma. I applaud you for posting your complaint on the web. I can understand your frustration having to deal with many inadequate employees. Please call to speak with the store manager directly. His name is Scott Kling and he can be reached at 408-988-5300 ext. #1 Good Luck and I will check back this site to hear the outcome of your case.

Here's some contact info: Levitz Furniture Company 2121 Laurelwood Rd Santa Clara, CA 95054-2754 Telephone: (866) 538-4891 Fax: (408) 756-2144 Original Business Start Date: January 1968 Principal: Michelle Pattee Customer Contact: Michelle Pattee TOB Classification: Furniture - Retail BBB Membership: This company is not a member If she doesn't help then send a certified letter to the company. Unfortunately, you did sign for the sofa - NEVER sign for a delivery until you check the contents!!! IF YOU USED A CREDIT CARD to pay for the sofa call your credit card company to dispute the charge! They will help you to either get the sofa or refund your money. I made the same mistake 4 years ago with Oak Express - I signed for the delivery while they were setting up the bedroom set. The bed was damaged and the 20 something store manager wouldn't replace it because I had signed for it as being OK. I called VISA to dispute the charge and 2 weeks later, low and behold, they replaced the entire bedroom set!
