Liberty Benefits Ramsey Prgressive Sales ripoff fraud theft of money straight out of bank account New York Montreal New York Quebec Canada
Liberty Benefits withdrew $299.00 out of our Checking account on 09/16/2002 then again on 09/19/2002 Suppossablly for a Debt Consolidation package.We had never talked to any one from this company about a debt consolidation package nor did we ever approve any money to be withdrawn from are account!
We did how ever try call there number 1-866-282-8472 which we aquired from the bank. We talked to a Alex and a Mark which suprisingly had the same voice. he said that he had him on tape agreeing to recieving their product.
When we asked to hear the tape he said our Lawyer would have to be present for us to hear the tape!We asked for the phisical address of the company and he didn't want to give it to us, he finally gave 112 Common Weath St. New York,NY.
He told us we would not be gitting our money back and our package was in the mail! Well if he mailed us anything it should of already gotten to us!
our bank has retreived or money and working on getting all our service fees back from where they caused our account to be over drawn! We are glade to have our money back but we want to do everthing in our power to keep this from happening to us or anyone else again.
Someone else we Know had these same people do it to them 3 months in a row, even after she closed and change to a new checking account number! Something needs to be done to stop these people! I have made a police report out and Ihave made a report to the better business buerau
