I was considering having the Lifestyle Lift done but there are no offices near where I live in Central Pennsylvania. The closest one was in Plymouth Meeting, PA, near Philadelphia. I called the Lifestyle Lift number and was told that office had been closed. They didn't say why, but I got suspicious. I did not make an appt. in Reston, VA, which is where they wanted me to come; even offered to give me $100 off the procedure if I would travel down there. I did a little investigating over the Web and found out that because of patients having had disfiguring complications, the Plymouth Meeting office had been closed for good. I always investigate companies--and doctors--thoroughly before going for anything, especially if they are from an unknown group, like Lifestyle Lift. There are reports on the Web of people going for this procedure and leaving with terrible complications, including open, oozing wounds, stitches that come open, and a real mess for some reputable doctor to fix. I'm really surprised that so far, they do not seem to have been sued. It's a money factory, it appears. Closing that Plymouth Meeting PA office made me decide that it's a very shady operation; when the police get too close, you close up shop and run! I would say to avoid this company at all costs and if you see one of their commercials on TV, change the channel!
