What can I say about this Micky Mouse company?
I paid good money up front (I was stupid I know) jobs not completed and now not returning calls. They do not even reply to Solicitors (Lawyers) letters threatening to take them to court.
Below was excerts from the last letter I wrote to these fools asking them to rectify faults etc...
Here is a list of what is outstanding work and faults
/Building work is substandard. Walls run off and not true.
/The utility ceiling runs off.
/The kitchen ceiling was not boarded and polished, bad marks in ceiling, as plastered over artex!
/Window sill in utility narrow at one end then goes wider towards the door.
/Look at step and you can see the walls are of different thickness look down at the floor tiles and you will see a lip on the right side and flush on the left side.
/Plaster all cracked and split on door way.
/Light switch not true to wall due to case not being sunk deep enough into wall at beginning.
/Broken drain cover outside.
/Holes in walls under breakfast bar and extractor unit, need plastering.
/Holes left in the outside wall, needing cement to fill them.
/Outside tap not straight (I fixed this).
/Bottom skirts on kitchen not cut straight. Clip broken and does not even line up to leg to clip onto it. One skirt is jammed in on an angle and bevels inwards and will not come out.
/Kitchens sink units not square and running off. Tiles on floor are square to hob units. When you measure the sink unit work top it is different measurement and you can see by the skirt how much it runs off as the difference from the tiles.
/Dishwasher holding bracket only on one side! This also catches on the door and has scratched all the paint off!(CDA Engineer rectified this) The brackets that were fitted he screwed the screws in straight so the heads were not sticking out on an angle.
/There is still a screw missing from the dishwasher.
/Dishwasher condensation sticker not applied correctly to bench underside. This will peel off and damage worktop underside.
/Under electric hob there are holes where there shouldnt be. Electric cable is loose and hanging down. Screw extruding outward into the cupboard!
/Electric hob fitting screw loose.
/No ventilation for cooker and microwave. Top and bottom. This was pointed out by CDA Engineer, this is why the door steamed up. The door was changed.
/Microwave was not fitted with the template provided. The screw was missing from the back, and the rails are not level. This is why the microwave is not level in the slot. Your kitchen fitter said this is how you fit all your microwaves! The CDA Engineer was amazed at how this was fitted. Report is attached.
/Wine rack promised to cover gas pipe and box it in.
/Sweeping brush removed from our property and not returned.
/Bench top to be changed, as it is scratched. The other benches are easily marked, they are very soft. Need to change to more durable type work tops.
/Bench top in sink unit next to the wall to the right does not even go straight to the wall, there is a big gap.
/Bench which needs changing does not have a power supply above it. My wife asked the electrician for 2 double sockets on other bench unit. Only 1 was fitted. I asked for other socket to be put in at other bench as this was overlooked in design. Why have a work top with no power supply above it?
/The big hideaway unit for the washing machine and dryer also runs off. It gets wider towards the door. You can measure and see by how much.
/Under breakfast bar screws are sticking out at an angle.
/Chris promised us the inserts for the sink and drainer. He said they were being delivered.
/Corner cupboard shelf cut poorly with cross cutting visible when cupboard opened. Underneath also a mess tile grout will not hide this.
/Sealant missing off cupboards and extractor to roof..
/Stainless extractor poorly cut with a wavy edge finish.
/Skirting board not sealed.
/Under lighting required under the units, to finish the job. This may cover the unit in the corner which is badly fitted and cut.
/15 fee for getting a bankers draft when it was not required!
