Good evening,My name is Sharon Madison and  i  was reffered over by attorney general bondi.. She suggested that I send the details of my complaint in writing, which I have decided to do. I am a former student of Lincoln College of Technology which is located in West Palm Beach. During the fall 2010 semester, I was struck by a teacher (Ms. Elwell) during a class. Several classmates witnessed the incident. After Ms. Elwell hit me, I got up to leave her class and was told that if I left the class, points would be deducted from my daily attendance record.I called the office of the dean on several occasions to report the incident but he never bothered to get back with me. A couple weeks passed before I was approached by my radiology teacher. I was surprised when she told me that she had heard about the incident from other students. She said that everyone was talking about it. I explained the situation to her.The next day upon arriving to school, I was met at the elevator by my radiology teacher, Ms. Elwell and the assistant dean. They took me into an office and questioned me about the incident. It goes without saying that being questioned by the three of them was a very intimidating experience.I explained that I did not feel comfortable attending Ms. Elwell's classes and requested that I be re-assigned to a different instructor. My request was declined. Ms. Elwell apologized and said "it will never happen again." (Unfortunately, her promise was not enough to put me at ease in her class). On a test that I took the following week, I had 3 wrong answers. Ms. Elwell spotted them and corrected them for me, which gave me a perfect score for the test. She justified her action by stating that she knew that I knew the correct answers, anyway. I felt that this action was a way for her to try to appease.   During the semester, I missed 4 days of class but made each of them up in make-up sessions as I was instructed to do by my professors. I was told that as long as I made up the hours there would be no problem. However, my grades were withheld at the end of the semester. I was told that even though I had made up the time, they would not pass me. This seemed very unfair since my grades were not only passing, but were well above average! They actually had the nerve to tell me not to give up  as  i was told that  dr.denton would not pass meinradiology even though i had  made up all my days for patillo's class.I contacted Lincoln College on December 23rd to advise them that I would be withdrawing and would not be attending the spring semester.I called the FAFSA department this morning to confirm that everything had been taken care of but to my surprise, I was told that Lincoln College had made a disbursement for Spring 2011 on January 3rd. At this point I am without words. I have been treated very unfairly by this school, have been abused not only emotionally but PHYSICALLY, and am now being charged for another semester. To top it all off, I recently found out that the school is not even accredited for the course that I was taking! the diplomas are not worth the paper it is written on.no other school recognizes them and i can not transfer credits to any other school. Please contact me at 561-207-1796 or 561-839-3075  i do not want anyone to go through what i have gone through.i just want a refund  back so i can just move on thank you for your time sincerly, sharon madison

You're only allowed 3 absences without a note

You're only allowed 3 absences. If you do not have a note and miss 4 days it's an immediate fail no matter how "above average" your class scores were. It sounds more like you are complaining because you failed because of something you did, not your teacher.

Also, you're saying the attorney general of Florida referred you to ripoffreport.com to "send the details of the complaint in writing". Ummmmmmm NO, you apparently have some sort of comprehension problem. Can you please reply why this teacher "struck" you?

And no, I do not work for the school but I did attend--received financial aid, and pay my bills.
